If you’re following my #CultivationProject, you know I’m on a spending freeze this month. So you might be like, “Style finds!? I thought you weren’t shopping??” Don’t worry, I received these pieces prior to starting the challenge, and just hadn’t gotten around to wearing/sharing them yet! 🙂
You may also know that I’m a big proponent of closet clean-outs, especially after reading Marie Kondo’s The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up last year. I try to only keep things I absolutely love &/or keep in regular rotation.
After I’ve cleaned out my closet, I can assess what I need (and want!) and add some fun new pieces.
So, I was excited to try out some styles by Tobi – a website I hadn’t ordered from before. A lot of their styles seem better suited for a big girl’s night out or date night than a day around town, but below I’m sharing a few I found that have the right mix of comfy and chic.
STYLE #1 – Distressed Out Cropped Sweater
This one was perfect for a weekend up in D.C. for a corporate retreat with my husband’s company. I wore it out to a Washington Wizards game and loved it! It’s definitely a cropped style so high-waisted jeans were a must for me. The stark white and flowy fit felt super lux, too.
You can’t totally tell in the pictures, but the sleeves were a bit long for me, so I gave them a good cuff and they stayed up just fine!
STYLE #2 – My Lace Or Yours Bodycon Dress
Like I said, some of TOBI’s styles are best for a fancy date night or a celebratory girl’s weekend, so I haven’t actually worn this one out yet, but here’s a little #mirrorselfie action to give you an idea. I have it styled with the Santorini bootie by Kristin Cavallari’s line with Chinese Laundry. << They’re on major sale here!>> They’re a little wild, but for sure my style. 😏
I’d probably wear it with tights, too – especially if it was still as frigid as it is right now!
Oh, and of course, my mini Goldendoodle sidekick, #DodgerMyDood. (Ahem, I also realized after taking these, I hadn’t put my wedding ring back on yet. Ooops.)
I found that this one runs a little small, so if you do order it, definitely go up a size or two!
STYLE #3 – Take Me Back Strappy T-Shirt
This one is definitely my almost-tom-boy speed, with a feminine flair. I could wear a v-neck cotton T pretty much errry day, so the cross detailing on this style makes me feel a little fancier on a day when all I want is to be comfortable. Paired with classic Vans and distressed boyfriend jeans by VICI; I’m good to go.✌🏼
Dodger really wanted to be front & center in this one.
There you have it!

Have you ever shopped at TOBI? Which styles are your favorite?
