I don’t know what it is about light fixtures and table lamps, but I have a thing for them. I get genuinely excited when buying a new one and they tend to make a big impact in a room.
I also tend to prefer the softer, more romantic lighting of a table lamp compared to overhead fixtures.
But solid, well-designed table lamps can also be hard to find – especially at an affordable price point. Designer ones can cost upwards of $250 – $500+ dollars, so I’m always on the hunt for ones that look & feel designer but run a bit less.
While sprucing up our guest room design, I came across the below options – most of which are from World Market. I’d been buying a lot of the Studio McGee for Target lamps and have liked them (although they often do a weird twitching thing?) so I’m really curious about these.
I pulled the trigger on lamp 01. for our guest room and am excited to see it IRL. Will share some photos once it comes in!
I love that each one is neutral but textured. They feel artful without commanding too much attention and would work well in a lot of different spaces and design aesthetics.
