Last month I started a new series about um, well… my favorite recent purchases! (Catch No. 1 of this series HERE.) This spring, I’d been thinking through outfits for my best friend’s wedding in Telluride as well as trying to refine my wardrobe. I’ve wanted to do a better job of only buying/keeping what I […]
Rather than creating some long-winded complicated new blog series that makes it hard for me to maintain, I’m going to keep this series nice & simple. Sort of like Fashion Jackson’s ‘Dailies’ blog posts – but more like monthly because #hobbyblogger. After spending a lotttt of time quarantining at home over the past couple of […]
Between painting just about the entire interior of the two homes we’ve owned so far, you could say I’ve spent a fair amount of time studying paint swatches and experiencing them on our walls first-hand. One of my first blogs was called Simply Complicated. Unwaveringly, that dichotomy still exists within this space. It’s for those who want to be & do all the things, yet long for a life Erin Loechner so ironically describes as Chasing Slow. It’s for those that feel overrun, hurriedly completing tasks and to-dos, yet find themselves still debating that daydream. It’s for those who believe life isn’t about achieving perfection or some idealized version of yourself, but going to bed at night knowing you’re climbing towards your potential. Because cultivating your style, using your voice, and creating a life you love doesn’t happen by accident— but on purpose. So here’s to pursuing our dreams with eyes wide open.
A version of this blog been around for years and evolved more times than I can count, but it continues to be a space for sharing what brings me strength and joy - in hopes it does the same for you.
So whether we're talking about wine, home décor, which shampoo to buy, or having a heartfelt convo about Jesus, I'm here for it.
